Kubekuro, Ghana, lies only 500 metres from the mining site of the Canadian firm Golden Star Resources. The blasting of the mining operation vibrates the ground, cracking the buildings of Kubekuro, and engulfing the community in dust.
After roughly a decade of this, the company has never sent an official to observe these impacts, despite numeous complaints from the community.
